Whether you enjoy a crisp, fall Saturday at historic Kinnick Stadium or exploring the Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty Area, there is one passion shared by many – the University of Iowa Hawkeyes! Celebrate the previous year’s Hawkeye seasons and immerse yourself in a sea of black and gold at FRY fest.
FRY fest is a one day ‘Celebration of all that is Hawkeye’ to kick-off the Hawkeye athletic seasons the Friday before the first home football game. With over 20,000 members of Hawkeye Nation in attendance, it has become a tradition for fans to travel to Coralville, Iowa each year to take part in the festivities. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the City of Coralville with proceeds of the concert and beverage garden going towards Coralville’s Fourth of July Celebrations.
The 5th Annual FRY fest will take place on FRYday, August 30, 2013. With numerous family-friendly activities planned throughout the day, FRY fest is a true ‘Celebration of all that is Hawkeye.’
