A Celebration Of All That Is Hawkeye

Whether you enjoy a crisp, fall Saturday at historic Kinnick Stadium or exploring the Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty Area, there is one passion shared by many – the University of Iowa Hawkeyes! FRYday, SEPTEMBER 3rd, will again serve as every Hawkeye enthusiast’s dream. Celebrate the Hawkeye’s successful 2009-2010 seasons and immerse yourself in a sea of black and gold at the World’s Largest Hawkeye Tradeshow and Tailgate Party. Come meet many of the honored 1960 and 1985 Big Ten Champion teams, both of whom will be celebrating important anniversaries. Become a part of history and “shake it all about” when we attempt to break the Guinness World Record for largest organized Hokey Pokey Dance! Last but certainly not least…as we gear up for the start of the 2010 Hawkeye football season, finish your FRYday off with an outdoor concert with Iowa favorites, The Nadas, and national headliner, Three Dog Night!

With numerous family friendly activities planned throughout the day this will be a truly be another great Celebration of all that is Hawkeye – something you don’t want to miss!

Concert After an exciting day of black and gold, enjoy an evening of live music, food, beverage garden, and more in the Iowa River Landing. We invite you to enjoy the talents of The Nadas and Three Dog Night! NO coolers or outside food/beverage allowed in concert grounds. Admission: $10.00 Kids 5 & under are FREE

Tradeshow The World’s Largest Licensed Hawkeye Tradeshow EVER! This is the place where fans of all ages will be able to visit with Hawkeye student-athletes, see the latest and greatest Hawkeye swag, interact in family friendly activities throughout the day, and get fueled with Hawkeye energy from exhibitors all across the region.
